Form HQ, which rural Berlinton, wash. I have an Egg Tech Startup based, has collected 000 500,000 from investors to expand its irrigation technology business, which has raised its total funding to about $ 5 million.

The company has flown with more than 200 users in the United States, Canada, Mexico and Australia, and its revenue is more than double the year.

With the new funding, the Form HQ plans to increase its technology and services for its technology and the fields that use the center -powered irrigation, which is the most common spraying system but is automatically difficult. Samples of circular crop are visible while flying on agricultural areas. The purpose of the startup also is to double his head account by nine employees by the end of the year.

Although the Form HQ is pointing to a significant growth, it is also facing the challenges created by new US taxes on China and Canada. Co -founder and CEO David Wallis said the launch is looking for household goods for some components of hardware obtained from China, but their prices often cost more or are not available in the United States.

On sale, the Canadian farmer represents 18 % of the company's business. The country has imposed revenge rates against the United States, which some consumers are more reluctant to shop in the north.

Wales said commercial battles “are causing confusion and frustration.”

Wales and his brother Conor have founded their company, which is his company 2020. Both Scaggat Valley fell into the family's potato farm, but left for college and job with tech companies.

After seeing his focus, he turned towards Egg Tech about how physically demanding and resourceful resources were to operate the water irrigation system. Sprayers can damage and damage flood crops, and farmers need to go to the fields regularly to monitor and control the system.

Waissus launched Koda Farm Technologies, which re -nominated the form HQ last year, to deal with the problem. Their technology regulates the flow of water and in real time distributes irrigation data into the smartphone dashboard. The platform can connect with a user's existing springs and can be deployed on irrigation pumps, valves and flowers.

Irrigation innovation can help with the agricultural sector, which is hiding economically with increasing costs and a reduction in profits. In the United States, it is being widely driven by lack of labor, which the Trump administration has pursued and arrested by non -documentary activists.

“Automation, digital change and workforce development is a key strategy for eliminating the shortage of labor.” “Companies have to prefer to adopt technology, improve working conditions and promote partnerships to advance innovation and performance.”

In addition, water protection is becoming increasingly important as the planet continues to heat. Only in the United States, 36 states are currently in severe drought.

Consumers are happy with HQ products and services, which includes free changes for sensors when they break, Walis said.

“Every farmer wants the opportunity to check it in some season at this point,” he said. He added that most accounts are increasing three times in their purchase after the first year. “We are happy that we earn their confidence quickly.”

Despite the success of the form HQ, the overall sector is very high. According to Pitch Bok data, Egg Tech investment has decreased worldwide since 2021. In the second quarter of this year, funding was $ 1.5 billion, up 23 % during the same period last year.

One of these rounds went uniform, one Vancouver, BC, start -up, which announced financial support of 7 4.7 million in May. The company is also dealing with irrigation automation.
