As the EY Entrepreneur of the Year Imports indicates its 25th year of supporting the Australian Entrepreneurship, Daily start The Mathematics Awards, which is held on October 15, is profiling the extraordinary businessmen named as the national finalist in five categories.

So far, we have met the finalist for social influence. Today, we meet the rising category group.

    Tyson Gunson, Bureau

‘Elastic spaces’ and meat merchants: 2026 EY Entrepreneur Of The Year shines light on emerging leaders

Ever heard of 'flexible spaces'? Cofounder Tson Gunson says the bureau based in Adelaide “is making places flexible to shape people around people rather than forming people around the places”.

“I spent 12 years working for 80 to 100 hours a week in consultation, and often they miss private, quiet places for deep work.”

Enter the sound -proof office booth of the bureau made of recycled material. Seeing the loss of single use, Tyson and its co-founders brought their bureau modular office pods to the forefront-faster, cheap and more environmentally friendly solution for the deception. Now they are seen in the global offices of brands like Amazon, Delive, Google, Lego and NASA.

Next evolution, currently in beta testing, allows users to upload PDF floor plan and produce AI 1000s.

“In five years, the bureau will be a default choice for modern business for the backbone of his office,” says Gunson.

Steve Dresler, what is the ability

    Steve Dresler

At the age of just 20, Steve Dresler was on his way to Parameta Alice when suddenly the injury ended his NRL dreams for good.

“My world is closed like the world,” says Dresler.

It was intended to work in support of disability.

In 2019, the Drassler launched an Instagram account to show great experiences for people living with disabilities. The reason for this is that guidance with professional athletes, camp, outdoor activities and more providers with a NDIS provider service support.

Today, which capacity supports more than 1000 families, in which 70 staff works in Australia. Its non -profit arm, what is the basis of qualification, aims to unlock a million experiences for people with disabilities and their families by 2030.

“I personally have to take a major goals globally,” says Dresler.

“What do we now do with the NRL and AFL and all the sports teams here in Australia are really cool, but one day imagine that we are doing this with the NFL over, or the EPL in the UK?”

David McGurone and Benka Tarant, our cows

    David McGurone and Benka Tarant

Our cow is a meat subscription company with a purpose. David McGurone and Ba'atika Tarant were started in 2019 after destroying severe shrubs and droughts, our cows seek to improve the lives of farmers and meet consumer demand for better quality, morally achieved production.

“As a farmer, you never really know what price you are paying for your livestock, so we wanted to guarantee the price of livestock we were preparing, and the same stability to other farmers,”

Today, our cows fed the entire Australian consumers directly, freely and organic production, which helps 100 farmers and their communities.

“We met a farmer who was probably going to sell his form,” Tarant said.

“He had three young daughters. Six months after our cow supply, he told me, 'I was never in a better position and I could see the future of my daughters in the form.”

Sam Gordon, Australian Property Scout (APS)

    Sam Gordon

Gold Coast buyer's agent Sam Gordon became a property investor for the first time at the age of 19. In his 20s, Gordon collected 20+ properties and felt that he could help others do so.

“At the age of 26, I was burned in the industry by another buyer's agent,” Gordon said.

“I lost $ 10,000. It was a really important moment of my life … I realized that if I couldn't trust this boy, I couldn't really trust anyone. It doubled me on my portfolio.”

Two years later, in 2019, Gordon launched its investment buyers' agency Australian property scouts to help others avoid similar losses and build their property departments morally.

Now, with a team of over 60 staff, the APS is on the way to collision with 500 investors by retiring by 2030.

Gordon says, “We are empowered to enable many people to live our lives that they want to live – really help people go to the ladder with their first contract and then show how to transform a property into three investment properties.”

“There is something about what gives me so much drive and purpose.”
